Whats Up with me!!!!

I do know that my Umair is getting bigger and no longer need the diapers. So one particular night he deiced to sleep with me. In the middle of the night as I turned and hugged him, to my horror I felt something wet...Yea he pee on my bed. I was like ewwwwwe!!!! The best thing, he was sleeping peacefully when I discovered the pool of Urine!!!

I've been reading up these few days on How to speak and write. In one of the chapters, it state the origins of English. I was amazed that English come way back during Anglo-Saxon days. And the fact that English evolve. Slowly different country adopt each other word and become theirs. Hahaha funny....And I wonder who invent the word funny. The book is really good that it also state different English from different country like Australian English, Canadian and many more. Now I understand why every year the Oxford University add in one word in their dictionary. Everybody can make new word. Like the latest word that being add up in the dictionary, EVOO. Its sound sooooo evil....but in real fact it means Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

I don't know why I'm blabbering about English language. It sounds soooo boring. I never want to understand English back during school days, now I appreciate this language. Speaking of which, I just remembered that yesterday is the Republic Day in India. Republic Day is different from Independence Day. It's the day Indians become a Republicans.

So Happy Republic Day...Jai Hind!!!

Why do every nationals proud of their country?

I mean I do not see it in Singaporeans. Are we proud being a Singaporean? I mean I really envy them, I don't know if I have that kind of feeling. Whenever I was away on holidays, and people asked me where I came from, I do say I'm from Singapore. I do feel proud being a Singaporean...a least a bit. I mean I'm not shy to say where I came from, and whenever I'm back I just feel great stepping on Singapore reclaim soil.....But still I don't know if I really feel proud being a Singaporean.

The one thing I really hate is the fact that outsiders thought we Singaporeans are part of China...I mean when I was in Koh Samui and the owner of the resort came to talk to us. Just because my mum was wearing the Muslim headscarf, she thought we were from Malaysia.
What are we really the minority in Singapore....that outsiders thought Singapore is like another China....I'm not trying to be racist or something but it just that people don't know there 4 races....Helooooo we Singapore are made of multigrains......

At least I can proudly say that living in Singapore is a good thing. We don't have to see riots, racial discrepancy and etc...
For example recently in the news....BB show
I mean, I'm sure everybody knows about the racist...Why can the Britons except the fact their country have a few millions strong Indian community living in Britain.
Few years back, In Sidney, racist ism is all over the news. This time its against the Chinese....
In Singapore we do face racist ism, but its wasn't till then our government make it a point to celebrate Racial Harmony Day on the 21st of July.... I think people today should learn to live like Singaporeans...minus the kiasu ism, not being polite, showing double standard,no courtesy, no patience....etc

For once I can say living in Singapore is save....We live peacefully with one another.....
