Hmmm!!! its been awhile.....hehehe its just that in Singapore burgers ain't popular except those in fast food. i did some research on fast food burgers and guess what.....fast food is not a healthy choice..... remember my previous entry where by i say who say fast food ain't healthy..... ok i take it back.......(i wonder if the researcher gain weight while experimenting on these foods)
Ok what do we do if we really really NEED fast food?????
If lunch ends up at a place where nothing on the menu qualifies as health food, you can still cut down on empty calories and saturated fat by ordering smartly.
Here are the guidelines:
Mackers: Filet-o-Fish (with tartar sauce, no chesse)
*380 calories
*13 grams (g) protein
*41 g carbohydrates
*16 g fat (3 g saturated)
*1 g fiber
*530 milligrams (mg) sodium
Burger King: Big Fish Sandwich (with tartar sauce, no cheese)
*630 calories
*23 g protein
*70 g carbohydrates
*30 g fat (5 g saturated)
*4 g fiber
*1,340 mg sodium
Bottom line is throw back BK burger it has nearly twice the fats
